The first of many travels to Iceland. Six days in a camper van along the southern and south-eastern coasts of Iceland in December. Four hours of daylight meant that we had to make the most out of every day while we could. Everything from mountains to glaciers, rivers, waterfalls, and the ocean made this the most diverse landscape I have ever experienced.
From travels to Cahuita, Costa Rica. Five days on the southern Caribbean coast of Costa Rica exploring small surf towns, dense jungle and some beautiful Caribbean waves. Costa Rica is amazing for its biodiversity, happy people, and gorgeous landscapes and beaches.
Travel to Cuba opened for Americans in 2014 under the Obama administration. Since then, tourism has increased, but American tourism still hasn’t bloomed like it has in other parts of the world. I am thankful to have experienced the raw, Cuban culture in its many forms and places while the influence of tourism is still relatively low. A week in Havana and a small town called Viñales was nowhere near enough time to see everything this country and its people have to offer — a return visit will be due in the future.
As an Arizona native, the Southwest is my immediate playground. I am sometimes so enticed by all of the other beautiful places I could be photographing in the world that I neglect the beauty that is already all around me. This gallery includes photographs from Arizona, Utah, and New Mexico.
When I was 20 years old, I spent six months living in Europe — one of the most rad experiences of my life. This is where I first embraced photography as my passion and a potential career path. Living in Barcelona, I had access to a major international airport and I definitely took advantage of that. This gallery finds its roots in Spain, Norway, Germany, Italy, Portugal, France, and Switzerland.
