Iceland Surf

“Honestly, we were warmer in our wetsuits than we were in our clothes. They broke the wind and kept the warmth in better than a couple layers of winter gear… and that was nice considering the air was colder than the 40F water.”

Get a little taste of the adventure from a recent brand mission in Iceland. Stay tuned for the full videos!

Cinematic MOuntain Biking - AZ

The emotional ride of testing one’s mental and physical limits requires commitment that most people aren’t will to give. For those that are willing, a freed state of mind awaits them on the other side of pain and pushing.

Superstitions Climbing

I’d be lying if I said I didn’t think these guys were all just a little bit crazy. No ropes, no harness, nothing. Just a couple small pads on the cold ground below. The only thing keeping them on the wall is a couple tiny contact points where their hands and feet connect with the rock. Physics makes up the rest of the equation. The Superstition Mountains of Arizona make the perfect backdrop for a day like this.

Arizona Agriculture

Today, we grow crops bigger, faster, and on a more massive scale than most ever thought possible. It’s essential that humans produce food on this scale in order to keep up with population growth and demand. Agriculture can have a bad environmental reputation, but practices such as no-till, sequestering carbon and maximizing water efficiency continue to make agriculture more sustainable. After all, a farmer’s livelihood is based on sustaining his land. The Ag community will play a significant role in the sustainable future of humanity.

Telegraph Fire

The latest Arizona wildfire to earn its spot amongst the largest wildfires in Arizona history is the Telegraph Fire coming in at #6. The Telegraph Fire burned 180,000+ acres which also makes it the largest wildfire of 2021 in the U.S. There were 300+ fire personnel assigned to work the fire and the effort took weeks to get under control. The impact on national forests, communities and habitats is devastating and something we need to be more conscious of.

Sierra Estrellas

Ever wonder why I love capturing the aerial perspective of landscapes so much? This video gives you a little look into that... Flying a drone over a landscape for the first time is like a playground for me. I’ve never seen the land from that angle before and I can see so much more! I can play with scale, I have a whole new angle and direction of light... the list goes on. It’s truly a wonderful experience for me.

Hugsanir um Vatn

Iceland is wonderfully connected to water in many ways. Interestingly, the water is always moving… Even the daunting glaciers that seem to be stuck in time are still moving ever so slowly. I tuned into this and created the short film “Hugsanir um Vatn.”

The Fluidity Project

The Fluidity Project is a project I created to comment on what it means to be “fluid” in life. I think we can learn a lot from water and how it moves and flows. I find when I have this flowing mentality, I am the most at peace in life. These clips always calm me and keep me grounded - I hope it does the same for you!

Just Surf

There's nothing like it. Growing up in the desert, I always loved visiting the ocean. It always had a way of calming me and challenging me at the same time and the push and pull between those things is where I find my happiest self. I hope I can live by the ocean in the future and if I do, you can guarantee that I will be in that water shooting waves and surfing as much as I can!

This is Me

Looking inward to understand why I love to do what I do. Enjoy a little commentary on my adventures and why I have been able to do/see more than most people by age 23.

The Raw, Remote, Sierra Ancha Wilderness

A backpacking trip back into the remote wilderness of Arizona. The old pines and steep canyons walls of the Sierra Ancha Wilderness have witnessed rich Native history of thousands of years. This was an area of constantly evolving tribal culture that provided a defensive position for small communities of people to protect themselves during times of conflict.

Leap of Faith

In Arizona landscapes, water is a precious resource especially for the many desert-dwelling species that call it home. “Leap of Faith” looks into the Verde River and its path through the desert with music by Novo Amor.

Flat Iron Part I

Towering over the Lost Dutchman State Park, Flat Iron appears as the bow of ship jutting out of the Superstition Ridgeline.

Flat Iron Part II

At the top of Flat Iron, the scene offers a deep view into the heart of the Superstition Mountains.

Hermosa Vibes

Finding the ultimate happiness on a classic, California summer trip. Two weeks of the ocean, the beach, and volleyball – nothing’s better.

The Dire Desert

In collaboration with Scott Wiest and Ricky Aguilar with Cerulean Labs, “The Dire Desert” presents a unique place at the southern tip of Roosevelt Lake. Water from Roosevelt runs off into the desert to find its way through Arizona’s beautiful landscape.
